Event Recap: Clearloop Solar Farm Groundbreaking

On September 2, 2021 Sheeco was pleased to produce Clearloop Corporation’s first solar farm groundbreaking event in Jackson, TN.

Clearloop works with brands big and small that want to offset their carbon footprint, clean up the grid, and expand access to clean energy by building solar farm projects in our own backyard. Their first project is 1 million watts of new solar capacity in Jackson, TN reclaiming 60 million lbs CO2.

Sheeco was able to not only throw a beautiful and inspiring event celebrating partners and the Jackson community, but we also reduced the carbon footprint of the event itself by eliminating waste, utilizing solar power, and more!

We sourced a mobile solar generator from Footprint Project so that there were no fossil fuel emissions from using the speaker system and lighting. All of the materials sourced for the event including the virtual reality goggles and signage were either recyclable, compostable, or reusable, leaving us with zero waste to landfill.

Souring local vendors was another important piece to the event including the catering. One of our favorite parts of the event was the Kona Ice Truck. Clearloop wanted this even to be a fun, end of summer, ice cream social-type event. The Kona truck is actually solar-powered, which was the perfect match!
